What a GIFT!

Today a dear, dear friend gave the kids their birthday present.  It wasn't the latest video game or newest cool toy.  It was something WAY BETTER and WAY COOLER!!  I feel like it is my birthday....I am so stinkin excited!!

Her family decided that they would sponsor a woman in Ethiopia in honor of my kiddos.  SEE, I TOLD YOU IT WAS BETTER than a toy.  What a sweet and thoughtful gift.  I love to see the trickle down affect of our adoption.  Adopting Dawit from Ethiopia has opened so many eyes to how good we have it and how so many people struggle.  I can't say enough how much I appreciate this gift.  My prayer is that Gracie would realize how special it is too.

Soon, a woman in Ethiopia is going to have HOPE and the opportunity to learn a trade that will provide her an income that will support her family.   In the process she will also hear about Jesus and how much he LOVES her.  How He has plans for her future.

Now, aren't you excited?  This is life changing stuff here guys!
